The executive director of the MUZTCK, Dr. Bayantor, was awarded the "Miner's Star of Fame" award.

Bat-Ochir with the last name Dr. Bayantor, executive director of MUZTCK, was awarded with the "Miner's Star of Fame" award, the biggest award for miners, in recognition of his many years of productive work in the mining industry.

This prestigious award was presented by the Minister of Mining and Mining, G. Yondon, who expressed his gratitude for their many years of creative work and dedication to the development of the mining industry. The award, which was first initiated by the Council of Mining Professional Associations of Mongolia, was awarded to 2-3 people a year from 2018 and was postponed due to the "Covid 19" pandemic. Despite the postponement of the national festival, the 100th anniversary of the development of the mining industry will be celebrated next year, so it was decided to award the awaited award ahead of the traditional festival, said D. Sukhbaatar, the Executive Director of MUUMKZ.

Mining engineer, doctor (Ph.D) B. Bat-Ochir held a responsible position in the central administrative organization of geology and mining in 1995-2006. It was approved by Government Resolution No. 103 in 2002. He is currently a member of the World Mining Congress and a member of the Eurasian Mining Academy.
